My name is Rahin Badar. I come from an Indian Muslim family, and I am based in Sydney, Australia.

I made this website as a way for me to showcase the moments I have captured in my life. For me, photography is a way to tell a story and that's what I aim for in my work, to provoke audiences to think deeper about a photograph, what does it sound like, what can you hear, what do you think happens next?

I do photography because it is one of my interests, as has been ever since I was a child. My future in this field is unknown, so with this website you will also be part of my personal journey as I learn how to hone my interest and skill to the best of my abilities.

As an artist, if even one of my photographs makes you think or feel, I will consider myself successful in my art-making.

I don't edit any of my photographs, they are uploaded as captured; in all their blemishes and beauty.
